Una de las cosas que no nos gustó de D2 fue que... la historia fue la misma en cada acto. Te presentabas en cada pueblo y sus habitantes decían, que el demonio se había ido en "aquella dirección". Aquí, cada acto es diferente. En el 1º hay un poco más de misterio, está este culto que ha estado operando en Tritram y sus alrededores, tú estás tratando de averiguar quienes son. El acto 2 es un poco más una historia enfocada en intriga y decepción, porque Belial está ahí. En el acto 3, hay un montón más.
